Hi Hong
Bond strength (ASTM C-633) for typical arc spray aluminium
anti-corrosion coating 15 - 30 MPa (2250 - 4350 psi)
obtained from ~0.5 mm thick coatings from operator
qualification tests (9 MPa min spec). Have heard reports of
bond strengths up to 55 MPa (8000 psi). Porosity ~ 2 -
4%. All very much dependent though on equipment, parameters and
substrate preparation.
