Yarn Count System And Test Methods
Yarn count is a number that represents how much yarn is mass per unit length or length per unit mass.

In general, yarn count is represented in four ways: Tex, Denier, Ne, and Nm. Tex and denier are part of the mass per unit length system, whereas Ne and Nm are part of the mass per unit length system.
