I am planning to upgrade the forum software to MyBB 1.4. This is major upgrade and will probably require closing the forum for an hour or two. Hoping to do this over the coming weekend.

and I have now decided to wait a little while for the next maintenance upgrade to MyBB 1.4 before upgrading. This is mainly to let the dust settle and any inevitable bugs to be iron out.

Spent too much time sorting annoying little problems with the upgraded forum today. Hopefully everything will run well now.

If you find the change in poster info, now horizontal on top of post not to your liking, you can change this back to being vertical on left hand side. Go to your User CP -> Edit Options and tick "Display posts in classic mode".

MyBB 1.4.3 is a security update to the MyBB 1.4 series. It fixes 2 medium risk and 2 low risk security vulnerabilities. So you should see no change to the normal forum.
