Our (self & my Wife)paper on 'Surface Engineering & Global Warming' has been accepted for the symposium on ''Green Engineering and Environmental Stewardship' in the forthcoming MS&T conference in USA. The paper is based on materials from our new book on ''Global Warming-Origin,Significance, and Management'' to be published soon.The book is structured as a comprehensive reference book on the subject with 19 cn chapters ,starting from the Earth's atmosphere to Corporate Social Responsiblity
Surface Engineering plays a key role in minimizing global engineering.Do you know that 45% of energy is lost in the transmission to wheels of your car ? Quite a bit of this loss can be minimized by surface engineering of the components and lubrication(also considered as a part of surface engineering).Similar losses occur in most of the energy transmission systems.You can find lot of information on this subject in a NEDO, Japan publication/ EU research programmes.
Well, I shall be in USA for next one and half month in order to complete the process of publishing our new book.

In the book publishing area, there are new ones offering good return and publicity in print and electronic media.Quite a few of these famous ones are frauds,according to reports published in Washington Post and New York Times.If you intend to publish with any one of these new lots esp. in web publishing better check their credentials.
